I cannot tell you how many times I think about posting thoughts and things on Facebook but then stop myself out of worry of offending someone. I am friends with people of different political ideologies than myself, I have friends with varying religious beliefs, I am friends with the parents of some of my students and I am also linked to my employer so I rarely if ever post anything "controversial". I do not have a voice on my Facebook except to post pictures of my kids or voice a completely PC comment or complain about something universal like hating housework or traffic or the stupid weather.
I love the idea of finding my voice and starting a blog posting all kinds of stuff but I know myself. I know myself better than to think I will post more than maybe three posts maximum. I cannot handle taking care of my daughters and taking care of the house and taking care of my kindergarteners and maintaining a blog. It would be awesome to post cool crafts I do and fun ideas I teach but let's be honest, I won't even look at this again for a year.
So this was fun. See you again in 13 months.
